Your Feedback Makes a Difference

SafetyBuddy.info is not a platform for sending “nasty-grams” to or about others. It was designed to “move the needle” toward Zero-Harm by setting good examples and improving not-so-good ones. By design, this approach provides immediate accountability and public awareness about safety-minded providers.

We have Guidelines. Read them thoroughly at least once, then check that you have read them. After reading them once, you should still glance them over with each submission to be sure your post is not slowed down for a potential Guideline violation.

• Positive reviews celebrate excellence and motivate healthcare teams to maintain high standards.
• Negative reviews lead to accountability and drive improvements for future patients.
• Your shared experiences help other patients make informed decisions about their care.
• Healthcare systems improve when patterns of excellence or concern are identified through feedback.

SafetyBuddy’s Guidelines

• Be Specific: Include details about your experience that could help providers improve or recognize excellence.
• Be Honest: Share your genuine experience, whether positive or negative.
• Be Constructive: Focus on what could be improved rather than just criticizing.
• Respect Privacy: Never include other patients’ information in your feedback.
• Be Fair: Consider the circumstances and constraints healthcare providers work under.
• In rebuttals: Consider the stress of a patient’s health condition and all other factors — family, employment, finances, travel, sleep deprivation, to name a few.
• Follow Up: If issues are resolved or even ignored, please take a moment to update your feedback for the benefit of others.

The Never-Do’s

SafetyBuddy uses automated content filters that run before your submission is accepted. Violations are detected instantly — some block submission entirely, others flag your post for human review which may delay publication. To publish immediately, keep your content within these guidelines.

• No profanity, vulgarity, or obscene language of any kind — including evasion techniques (e.g., asterisks, dashes, or spaces between letters)
• No personal insults — no attacks on appearance, race, gender, religion, age, or any personal characteristic
• No threats, implied or direct
• No statements as facts you cannot support from personal experience (document whenever possible)
• No private personal information — home addresses, phone numbers, personal identifiers, or email addresses
• No web links, URLs, or external references of any kind
• No content that harasses, intimidates, or targets an individual beyond their professional conduct
• No content that violates any federal, state, or local laws

Post Pictures (optional)

• Google Safe Search runs on every picture before it is accepted — always on, never skipped.
• If the check fails, you will see Failed decency test — retake a different picture and may try again.
• One strike you’re out: if a picture that passed automated review is later found indecent (by admin or a community report), picture uploads on that account may be permanently revoked.
• Please report any indecent pictures to admin@safetybuddy.info.

What SafetyBuddy Does

• Automated Tier 1 filter runs instantly in your browser — hard violations are blocked before submission; soft flags are tagged for review
• Automated Tier 2 filter runs on our servers after submission — a second pass that catches anything the first missed
• Every submission passes through human moderation before it is publicly visible
• Flagged content is held for human review within 48 hours — you will be notified of the outcome
• Content that violates these Guidelines is removed; repeat violations may result in account suspension
• Your display name is your choice — use the nickname field on the form, or select Anonymous. Suggestion: use your nickname when sharing.
• You are always anonymous to the public — but your account is always known to SafetyBuddy for moderation accountability
